No. You will write one chapter of approximately 1,500 to 2,500 words. This is designed to be manageable for busy professionals. We provide guidance, structure, deadlines, and editing support to help you complete it.
You don't need to be a professional writer. You need to have experience, insight, and a willingness to share your message. We provide guidance, and your chapter will be professionally edited so it is polished, clear, and aligned with the quality and tone of the finished book.
That's completely normal. We will help you choose a topic that fits your expertise, your goals, and the purpose of the book. Topics are approved in advance so there is no overlap between contributors and so each chapter brings something distinct and valuable to the book.
Most authors spend 4-8 hours writing their chapter, spread over several weeks. We provide a clear timeline and structure to make the process manageable alongside your existing commitments. You'll also attend a group Zoom call and a post-launch call.
Yes. You will receive training on how to use your chapter and author status effectively in your marketing, social media, client conversations, and professional networking. You can use your book and chapter to build credibility with potential clients, referral partners, podcast hosts, event organizers, and your wider professional network.
Yes. The finished book will be published and made available through Amazon, including Amazon.ca, Amazon.com, and other Amazon marketplaces. Your name will be listed on Amazon and on the back cover of the book.
The investment to participate as a contributing author is $2,995 CAD plus GST. We also offer a payment plan option: 4 monthly payments of $895 CAD plus GST. This investment includes your participation, professional editing, publication, launch coordination, training, promotional assets, author copies, and additional visibility materials.
Each book will feature up to 10 selected co-authors. This small group size ensures every chapter gets attention and that the book maintains high quality throughout. You'll be part of an exclusive group of professionals in your industry.
Yes. We have two book projects: The Canadian Mortgage Playbook is designed for mortgage brokers and agents focused on client attraction and marketing. Legacy in Leadership is for established leaders who want to share their journey and build their legacy. During your discovery call, we'll help you determine which book is the right fit for your goals.
As a contributing author, you receive: a branded author graphic for social media, a one-page custom media sheet, launch-day swipe copy for email and LinkedIn, training on writing a professional bio, training on optimizing your Amazon Author page, and training on how to use your chapter as a marketing tool and how to get booked on podcasts.
